The Story of Garth
In collaboration with the U.S. Navy and the Santa Barbara Zoo, IWS biologists took care of an orphaned San Clemente Island Fox puppy named Garth. Following is short video about Garth's recovery and transfer to the zoo, where he will become part of the community outreach program as an ambassador for endangered species on the Channel Islands.

Return Flight: Restoring the Bald Eagle to the Channel Islands
This short film beautifully chronicles the story of Bald Eagles on the Channel Islands; from near loss to restoration. Released in 2011 by the Montrose Settlements Restoration Program, the film features IWS biologists Peter Sharpe, PhD. and David Garcelon, President. (Full Screen suggested. Note: Annie Little is a wildlife biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, not IWS).
