Sean grew up in southeastern Wisconsin where he developed a love for the outdoors and wildlife while on weekend adventures with his family. He followed these interests into his education and attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (2000-2004) where he earned degrees in Wildlife Ecology and Biology. He has predominately worked with avian species during his career, with a focus on the breeding ecology of various birds (San Clemente Island Loggerhead Shrike, Southwestern Willow Flycatcher, Red-shouldered Hawk). He currently lives in San Diego, CA with his wife.
